Commissioned by V&A museum:
A collaborative performance and installation by musician Roxanne Tataei and artist Hamed Maiye. The piece explores black opulence, surrealism and immortalisation in the style of Afro-Portraitism, a movement established by Maiye which explores self-representation through portraiture and other visual mediums. The work is a visualisation of Roxanne’s album Full Moon in Aries, a personal account of human experience and a desire for balance in both the human and spiritual worlds.
